>I just absolutely love the profile picture of this woman, probably taken in the early 1940s. Her hair is so perfect, and she looks so put together but in a natural way. I am guessing she’s not that young but more middle aged, and I only hope I can age as gracefully as she has. I find her absolutely beautiful. I love the blouse she’s wearing as well- in my head it looks like a blue linen with white stripe, though it could be any color, really.
I hope you have a lovely weekend!
>I love old photos as inspiration above vintage fashion magazines and movies. Not that those aren't wonderful, but I am a real kinda gal.
>I agree with Coedith, photos like this are what I see as better inspiration compared to what we mostly see as vintage. I also love seeing how people actually lived in those times.-Ruby
>fantastic post! She has a poise and natural elegance about her. Reminds me a bit of my grandmother–dressed with a dash of style but still not fussy…and with her hair set and with lipstick. Beautiful!
>Love it – I hope I can age gracefully too!
>She's beautiful! The epitome of graceful age, I too hope to grow old this way!~Syd
